KASAMA KA ORGANIK KOOP
"Nurturing the Soil, Saving Mother Earth"
Environmental contamination, global warming, health hazard and fragile food security can be attributed to unsustainable farming technologies and practices that were popularized by the high-powered conventional "chemical-based" agriculture or "green revolution" technologies based on high inorganic fertilizers and chemical inputs. In addition, the state of environmental health awareness of our children and youth, especially in the urban and peri-urban centers, remains inadequate. Addressing these issues became the driving force that led to formation of the Kalipunan ng Sustenableng Agrikultura at Magsasakang Organikong Kooperatiba (Kasama Ka Organik Koop or KKOK)
Spearheaded by Mr Pabilito M. Villegas and Dr. Isagani M. Catedral, staunch advocates and practitioners of sustainable organic agriculture, KKOK was registered under the Cooperative Development Authority with Registration No. LGA-7574 dated 06 July 2010
